Your Twitter is a goldmine of great information. Your newsletter email? It’s also full of precious gems.
The problem is that the journey it takes a follower to sign up for your newsletter is more like the Oregon Trail. They’ve got to find you on Twitter, then hunt down your website link or signup form. Wait for the popup. Type in their email. It’s a whole to do.
And there’s always the chance you’ll lose some to dysentery along the way.
You all know I’m always looking for solutions to simplify processes AND I love to check out new tools. When I heard about a new email app called Pollinate, I had to check it out. #notanad. I am the earliest adopter of EVERYTHING and love new apps.
Pollinate allows your Twitter follows to hit subscribe and pass directly through to your ESP, ready to receive your next newsletter. You grow your email list, and people who subscribe don’t have to jump through hoops to do so. Pollinate currently supports beehiiv, Mailchimp, MailerLite, ConvertKit, Ghost, Campaign Monitor, Buttondown, and HubSpot and takes less than 10 minutes to completely set up.
You can try it out for free. Just kidding, it’s COMPLETELY free. There’s really no good reason not to try it out!
PS: If you’re ready to set up your Pollinate account and grow your email list, there’s one golden rule to get the most out of it. You need to include the subscription link as part of the CTA of an occasional tweet. Way more people will see the link as it pops up in their feed vs. those who seek it out on your profile.
